Code of Conduct

Promenade at Coconut Creek is a privately owned property including all buildings, parking lots, parking garages, sidewalks, courtyards and other common areas. To maintain a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable environment for all guests, expressive activities, including but not limited to political speech, demonstrations, rallies, protests, campaigning, distributing materials, religious gatherings, speeches, or organized solicitations are not permitted anywhere on the property, including interior spaces, exterior areas, walkways, and parking lots. Unauthorized expressive activity may be subject to removal from the property in accordance with this Code of Conduct and applicable law. To ensure every guest’s experience is comfortable and pleasant, we kindly ask all guests to observe the following rules:Disruptive and/or destructive behavior is prohibited.Weapons of any nature are not allowed.No videotaping or photography of unauthorized areas or for commercial purposes is allowed.No smoking or vaping within 25 feet of establishment entrances or restaurant patios.Possession of open alcoholic beverages is prohibited except in designated areas.Appropriate clothing and footwear is required.No illegal and/or unlawful behavior. MINOR POLICYUnaccompanied Minors: No person under the age of 18 years (a “Minor”) shall be permitted to enter or remain in the common areas of the Shopping Center, including but not limited to the sidewalks, parking lots, plazas, courtyards, fountains, and restrooms, without being accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who is at least 21 years of age (an “Adult Supervisor”) Monday through Friday after 2:30 PM (the “Restricted Hours”) and Saturday and Sunday after 5:30 PM (the “Restricted Hours”). An Adult Supervisor must always remain with the Minor while in the common areas of the Shopping Center during the Restricted Hours.All Minors and Adult Supervisors may be required to show valid identification with a photograph and date of birth upon request by Shopping Center security personnel, management, or law enforcement personnel. Acceptable forms of identification include a driver’s license, state-issued identification card, passport, military identification card, or school identification card.Groups of four or more juveniles may be prohibited from congregating or walking through the center without adult supervision.The following Minors are exempt from this policy, provided that they can show proof of their status upon request. Employees of the Shopping Center or any of its tenants, who are accessing the common areas for work-related purposes only, such as reporting to or leaving from their jobs, or performing their duties or tasks.This policy will be enforced by Shopping Center security personnel, management, and law enforcement officers. Any Minor who is found to be in violation of this policy may be asked to leave the Shopping Center or be escorted to a designated area to wait for an Adult Supervisor to pick them up. Any Adult Supervisor who is found to be in violation of this policy may be asked to leave the Shopping Center or be escorted to a designated area with the Minor(s) under their supervision. Any person who refuses to comply with this policy or the requests of Shopping Center security personnel, management, or law enforcement officers may be subject to trespassing charges or other legal action.This policy is not intended to discriminate against any person based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, familial status, or any other protected class under federal, state, or local law. This policy is also not intended to interfere with the rights of tenants of the Shopping Center or their guests, as provided in their respective lease agreements or other applicable documents. This policy is subject to change or modification at any time by the Shopping Center’s Property Management, in its sole discretion, to ensure the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all customers and tenants of the Shopping Center. Those who refuse to comply may be removed from the Shopping Center and subject to arrest for trespass (FL State Statute 810.09).If you have questions regarding the Code of Conduct or Minor Policy, please contact the Management Office.
